Refrigerator Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cake yeast
    1 c. mashed potatoes
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. scalded milk
    1/2 c. warm water
    2/3 c. shortening
    1 tsp. salt
    5 to 6 c. flour
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water in a large bowl.
    Mix the rest in well.
    Put in a well-greased bowl and cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled in bulk.
    Put in refrigerator until ready to use.
    Will keep for a week.
    When ready to use, take out what you want to let rise about 1 hour.
    Makes about 4 dozen rolls.
