Austrian Goulash(Crock-Pot Style) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. beef stew meat
    1 onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic
    4 small carrots
    1/2 stalk celery
    1 (16 oz.) can tomato puree
    8 oz. beef gravy
    1 lb. wide noodles
    pepper and salt
    3 to 4 ground whole allspice
    1/2 bay leaf
    3 to 4 peppercorns
    1/2 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    Sprinkle meat generously with salt, pepper and ground allspice.
    Place in crock-pot on high setting.
    Add 1 cut up onion and minced garlic.
    Add carrots, celery, bay leaf, 3 or 4 peppercorns and 4 whole allspice.
    Add tomato puree and sugar.
    Add beef gravy, leave on high for 2 hours, then turn down to low.
    Set for 7 hours.
    Boil noodles.
    Strain sauce if you desire.
    Serve over noodles.
    Top with grated cheese.
