Dewberry Cream Pie - cooking recipe

enough berries for 9-inch pie
1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
3/4 c. evaporated milk
1 1/2 to 2 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 Tbsp. melted oleo
1 tsp. vanilla
dash of salt
Preparation

Mix milk, sugar, cornstarch, oleo, salt and vanilla.
Mix well.
Pour over berries in unbaked pie shell.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 55 minutes or until custard is firm.
