Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 3/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening; add eggs one at a time.
    Beat until fluffy.
    Sift next 4 dry ingredients together and stir in egg mixture.
    Chill dough for 1 hour.
    Roll into balls.
    Mix last 2 ingredients of sugar and cinnamon.
    Roll balls in cinnamon mixture. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375\u00b0 for approximately 7 to 9 minutes.
