Butterscotch Yams - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (40 oz.) can Princella yams, well drained
    1/2 c. dark Karo corn syrup
    1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/4 c. half and half
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Arrange yams in single layer in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Bake in a 325\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes.
    In a heavy 2-quart saucepan, combine remaining ingredients.
    Stirring constantly, bring to boil over medium heat and boil for 5 minutes.
    Pour over yams.
    Bake, basting frequently, for 15 minutes or until glazed.
