O'Henry Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. light corn syrup
1 1/4 c. crunchy peanut butter
6 c. Special K cereal
1 (12 oz.) chocolate bar

Preparation

Bring the sugar and corn syrup to a boil. After a complete boil, add the peanut butter.
Stir well.
Pour over the cereal and mix well.
Place in a 9 x 12-inch buttered cake pan.
Pat flat with spatula.
Add the chocolate bar in broken pieces on top of mixture.
Place in oven at 200\u00b0 until chocolate starts to melt and spread evenly. Cut into squares when partly cool.
