Hamburger Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 lb. ground beef
1/3 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
8 oz. can green beans, drained
1/4 tsp. salt
8 oz. can tomato sauce
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
mushrooms (if desired)
basil, thyme, oregano and paprika (if desired and to taste)
8 oz. can refrigerated crescent rolls
2 c. Mozzarella cheese
2 c. Cheddar cheese
1 beaten egg
Preparation

Brown ground beef, onion and green pepper.
Drain off fat. Stir in tomato sauce, garlic powder, mushrooms, salt and green beans.
Add any amount of the spices, if desired.
Simmer on stove.
Spread crescent rolls in pie pan.
Mix together Mozzarella cheese and Cheddar cheese.
Add egg.
Spread half of cheese mixture on crust.
Press meat mixture over cheese.
Top with remaining cheese mixture.
Bake at 375\u00b0 until crust is brown.
If made ahead of time, crust will be soggy.
