Apple Halushki - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    3/4 c. milk
    4 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 Tbsp. butter
    8 to 10 apples, peeled, cored and sliced finely
Preparation
    In bowl, mix milk, beaten eggs, salt and sugar.
    Stir in flour gradually.
    When batter is ready, drop it from a spoon in boiling water.
    See that the spoon includes a bit of apple each time. Test the Apple Halushki by cutting one in half for doneness.
    If the inside is cooked through then it is done.
    Serve with melted butter.
