Best Fruitcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 sticks margarine
    5 eggs, separate whites, set aside
    1 3/4 c. flour
    1/2 oz. vanilla flavoring
    1/2 oz. lemon flavoring
    4 c. pecans
    16 oz. cherries (in jar, red and green)
    16 oz. candied pineapple
Preparation
    Cream margarine and sugar.
    Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating well after each.
    Add 1 1/4 cups flour and the flavorings. Mix well.
    Set aside.
    Mix 1/2 cup flour with nuts and fruits; stir to well mixed.
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Fold into batter, then pour over nuts and fruit.
    Grease and flour Bundt pan.
    Start in cold oven at 250\u00b0.
    Bake for 3 1/2 to 4 hours.
