Krispy Fingers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. chopped dates
    1/2 c. nuts
    2 c. Rice Krispies
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 egg, well beaten
Preparation
    Melt margarine; add sugar, egg and dates.
    Cook 10 minutes. Remove from heat; add vanilla, Rice Krispies and nuts.
    Stir until cool and roll in fingers.
    Roll in coconut.
    Store in refrigerator for 1 hour.
