Caramel Popcorn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. popped popcorn
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    3/4 c. packed light brown sugar
    1/4 c. light corn syrup
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1 c. nuts (such as pecans, pistachio or almonds)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 250\u00b0.
    Place popcorn in large heatproof bowl in oven.
    Melt butter in large saucepan.
    Add brown sugar, corn syrup and salt.
    Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
    Boil over medium heat for 5 minutes; do not stir. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and soda.
    Pour over hot popcorn, stirring until coated.
    Mix in nuts.
    Pour into greased 10 x 15-inch baking pan.
    Bake 45 minutes to 1 hour until golden brown, stirring every 15 minutes.
    Cool and break into pieces. Store in airtight container.
