Peach Pie Alaska - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. Jell-O brand gelatin (any flavor)
    1 baked 9-inch Pet-Ritz pie shell (deep dish)
    2/3 c. boiling water
    1 c. vanilla ice cream
    1 c. diced fresh peaches
    3 1/2 c. Cool Whip
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
    Add ice cream by spoonfuls.
    Stir until melted and smooth.
    Blend in whipped topping and fruit.
    Chill, if necessary, until mixture will mound. Spoon into crust.
    Chill about 3 hours, or freeze until firm. Makes 8 servings.
