2 egg whites
1 c. unbleached white flour
1/2 c. whole wheat flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. skimmed milk
1/2 c. unsweetened natural applesauce
1/2 c. finely chopped almonds

Whip egg whites until stiff, but not dry.
