Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. yellow squash, sliced
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    1/4 lb. butter
    1 onion, chopped
    14 crackers, crumbled
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    2 eggs, beaten until frothy
Preparation
    Boil onion, sugar, salt and squash until soft.
    Drain and add rest of ingredients.
    Save enough crumbs for top.
    Place in greased 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
    Place in pan of water and bake for 1 hour.
