Bonny'S Potato Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. peeled, diced potatoes
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1 c. grated carrots
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. dried parsley
    4 chicken bouillon cubes
    6 c. scalded milk
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. flour
    12 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Place first seven ingredients in large pot, cover with water and cook until tender.
    Scald milk until bubbles form around edge of pan.
    Remove 1 1/2 cups milk; add butter and flour.
    Add this mixture to rest of milk and then add to vegetable mixture.
    Add cheese; stir.
    Chowder will thicken.
    Simmer 10 to 15 minutes.
