Mexican Relish - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 large ripe tomatoes
6 large green peppers
6 large red peppers
4 medium-sized onions
1 large bunch celery
1/2 c. salt
1/4 c. mustard seed
2 c. vinegar
4 1/2 c. sugar
Preparation

Grind the vegetables and mix with the salt.
Let drain in colander several hours or overnight.
Mix mustard seed, vinegar and sugar and stir into ground vegetables.
Put mixture in sterilized pint jars.
Put on canning lids.
Process in boiling water bath for 5 to 10 minutes to seal.
