Hash Brown Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. frozen hash brown potatoes
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 pt. sour cream
    1 small chopped onion
    1 stick butter
    2 handfuls chips, smashed
    8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Mix frozen hash browns, sour cream, soup, chips and cheese (reserve some cheese for topping) together.
    Brown butter and onion; add to hash browns.
    Place in deep 9 x 13-inch baking dish for 45 minutes at 375\u00b0.
    Sprinkle remaining cheese on top for 5 minutes before done.
