Crock Pot Green Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 cans whole Del Monte green beans, drained
    1/2 lb. bacon, fried crisp, crumbled
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 onion, thinly sliced
    1/4 c. bacon grease
    4 Irish potatoes, quartered (optional)
Preparation
    Drain beans.
    Place in crock pot.
    Top with sliced onion and crumbled bacon.
    In small sauce pan, combine bacon grease, sugar, vinegar and water.\tBring to boil and pour over beans.
    Cook on low 4 or 5 hours.
    If you do not have a crock pot, cook in dutch oven for 45 minutes.
