Broccoli Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large or 2 small heads broccoli
    3 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
    8 slices cooked bacon, chopped
    1 small red onion, chopped
    1/2 c. green olives, sliced
    1/2 to 3/4 c. mayonnaise
    2 Tbsp. liquid from olives
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cut broccoli into flowerets.
    If stems are tender, slice and add these.
    Combine all ingredients.
    Refrigerate several hours or make 1 day in advance.
