Stewed Jack Rabbit And Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. rabbit
    1 to 1 1/2 c. milk
    6 oz. salt pork
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Thaw rabbit.
    Cut into serving size pieces.
    Simmer giblets in saucepan in 2 cups of water.
    Slice and dice salt pork.
    Brown salt pork over medium-high heat.
    Brown the rabbit pieces in the pork fat; be careful of spattering fat.
    This will take 10 to 15 minutes.
    Add liquid from saucepan.
    Put in Dutch oven and bake for 35 to 40 minutes at 300\u00b0 to 350\u00b0.
