Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 egg yolks
pinch of salt
2 1/2 c. milk
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. flaked coconut
1 baked 9-inch pastry shell
sweetened whipped cream
Preparation

Combine egg yolks, salt and milk; mix well.
Place over low heat, stirring constantly, until warm.
Combine sugar and flour, mixing well.
Gradually add to milk mixture, stirring constantly. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Remove from heat; stir in vanilla and coconut.
