Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 egg
    1/4 c. molasses (Gold Label)
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. flour
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening.
    Add egg and molasses.
    Sift flour.
    Add salt, soda and spices and sift again.
    Add to other ingredients and mix well.
    Chill and make small balls and dip in sugar.
    Bake at 375\u00b0.
