Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. boiling water
1 c. oatmeal
1/2 c. oil
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Pour boiling water over oatmeal and let stand.
Cream sugars, shortening and eggs.
In a separate bowl, mix dry ingredients. Add oats and all ingredients together and mix.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes in a sheet cake pan.
(Grease and flour optional.)
