Holiday Jingles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
    1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    1 egg, separated
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. grated orange peel
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. finely chopped Diamond walnuts
    1 c. Sun-Maid raisins
    1/2 c. apple jelly
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Combine butter, brown sugar, egg yolk, orange peel and vanilla.
    Beat until light and fluffy.
    Combine flour and salt.
    Shape into 1-inch balls, 1-inch apart.
    Press thumb gently in center of each cookie.
    In square pan, combine raisins with apple jelly. Fill thumb print with raisin mixture.
