Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. white sugar
    1 c. white Karo syrup
    1/2 c. water
    3 c. raw peanuts
    3 tsp. margarine
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Boil sugar, Karo and water until thread spins or 250\u00b0 temperature.
    Then add peanuts and stir continuously after peanuts are added.
    Cook until temperature reaches 280\u00b0.
    Take from fire; add butter, salt and soda.
    Pour onto buttered board to cool.
