Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    2/3 c. Karo syrup (dark)
    pinch of salt
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Let come to good boil, then add 4 cups of pecans. Cook slowly to soft-ball. Take off stove; add 1 tablespoon vanilla.
    Beat until creamy and drop into patties.
