Sandies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/3 c. sugar
    2 tsp. water
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add water and vanilla and mix well. Blend in flour and nuts.
    Chill about 2 hours.
    Shape into balls or fingers.
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 325\u00b0 for 20 minutes. Remove from pan, cool and roll in sugar.
    Makes 3 dozen.
