Chocolate Coated Mints - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. margarine
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
    1 lb. box confectioners sugar
    4 tsp. peppermint flavoring
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    2 oz. piece paraffin wax
Preparation
    Stir margarine, syrup and 1/2 of the sugar over low heat until bubbly.
    Quickly stir in the rest of the sugar and flavoring. Stir until mix holds shape, just a few minutes.
    Spoon out by spoonfuls onto waxed paper.
    Cool for 30 minutes or longer.
