Pound Cake(Cold Oven) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    2 sticks margarine
    5 eggs
    2 Tbsp. lemon flavoring
    2 Tbsp. vanilla flavoring
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. Crisco
    3 c. plain flour
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Cream together the sugar, salt, margarine and Crisco.
    Add eggs, one at a time; beat well after each egg.
    Add lemon and vanilla flavoring.
    Add 2 cups sifted flour and 1 cup milk alternately, beginning and ending with flour.
    Sift baking powder and 1 cup flour; add all at once.
    Put batter into a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
    Pan can be lined with wax paper; put in cold oven.
    Bake for 1 3/4 hours at 325\u00b0.
    Good plain, or you can use your favorite icing.
