Aunt Lonna'S Pineapple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    2 c. sugar
    3 3/4 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. shortening
    2 1/2 tsp. vanilla or 1 tsp. almond and 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    1 c. pineapple juice
    3 eggs
    1/3 c. water
Preparation
    Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
    Add remaining shortening, vanilla and/or almond flavoring and pineapple juice. Beat for 3 minutes.
    Then add eggs and water.
    Beat 2 minutes longer.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes for 3 to 4 layers or 35 minutes if in a large flat pan.
