Taco Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 (1 1/4 oz.) pkg. taco seasoning
    1 (1 oz.) pkg. Ranch dressing mix
    1 can hominy, drained
    3 cans stewed tomatoes (undrained)
    1 can kidney beans (undrained)
    1 can pinto beans (undrained)
    1 1/2 c. water
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Brown beef with onion and chilies.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Bring to a boil and simmer about 45 minutes.
