Cracker Jacks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. dry roasted peanuts
    5 qt. popped corn
    1 c. butter
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix together butter, corn syrup, sugar, salt and baking soda; soft boil 5 minutes.
    Pour over popped corn and nuts.
    Place in slow oven for about 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
    Cool.
