Ha' Pennies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter, softened
    1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, finely shredded
    1/2 pkg. dry onion soup mix
    1 c. flour
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Combine softened butter, cheese, onion soup mix and flour.
    Roll into logs 1/2-inch in diameter; wrap in waxed paper and chill.
    Slice into rounds 1/4-inch thick.
    Bake on greased cookie sheet for 10 to 15 minutes.
    Serve hot or cold. Yield: 5 to 6 dozen.
