Southwestern Lasagne - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    2 Tbsp. oil
    4 Tbsp. minced onions
    2 cloves pressed garlic
    1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste
    3 c. water
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. oregano
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. lasagne noodles
    1 1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese
    1 1/2 lb. Monterey Jack cheese
    2 c. (7 oz.) whole green chilies
Preparation
    Brown beef in oil with onions and garlic.
    Add tomato paste, water, salt, sugar and oregano; simmer for 15 minutes.
    Cook noodles as directed.
    Grate cheese.
    Remove seeds from chilies. Layer noodles, sauce, cheeses and green chilies into a 10 x 15-inch pan.
    This makes 3 layers.
    Bake for 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Let set 10 minutes before serving.
    Serves 8.
