Scalloped Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage, chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. milk
    1 c. grated cheese
    6 soda crackers, crumbled and mixed with 2 Tbsp. margarine
Preparation
    Cook cabbage in boiling water (salted) for 10 minutes; drain well.
    Melt butter in saucepan.
    Add flour; blend until smooth. Add milk; cook until smooth white sauce develops.
    Place alternate layers of cabbage, white sauce and cheese in baking dish.
    Top with cracker mixture.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
    Yields 6 to 8 servings.
