Pepper Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 doz. each red and green peppers
    6 medium onions
    3 c. white or cider vinegar
    3 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Halve the peppers and discard stems and seeds.
    Put peppers through food chopper, using coarse blade.
    Also coarsely grind onions.
    Combine undrained vegetables with remaining ingredients. Simmer uncovered 30 minutes.
    Seal at once in hot sterilized jars.
