Hot Sausage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hot sausage
    1 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 large onion
    7 eggs
    4 c. milk
    7 slices bread
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. dry mustard
Preparation
    Cut bread up in quarters and place in a greased, large loaf dish.
    Cook sausage until lose and brown; drain all grease, except 2 tablespoons.
    Saturate the onion in this.
    Use half of everything, making 2 layers.
    Place bread, cheese and onions; repeat.
