Banana Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/4 to 1/3 c. vinegar (finish 1/2 cup with water)
    1/2 c. water
    cornstarch to thicken (about 2 Tbsp.)
    6 bananas
Preparation
    Mix sugar and cornstarch.
    Beat egg slightly.
    Add sugar and cornstarch.
    Stir in vinegar and water.
    Cook until thickened. Break bananas in small pieces and then roll in dressing and crushed peanuts.
    Yields 6 servings.
    Preparation time is 20 minutes.
