Crackling Cowboy Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. corn meal
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
2 eggs, beaten
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 small onion, chopped
2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 (8 oz.) can cream-style corn
2 c. cracklings
2 Tbsp. chopped pimento
Preparation

Combine first 4 ingredients and mix well.
Add milk, eggs and vegetable oil.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Pour into greased cast-iron skillet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes or until lightly brown.
