No Cook Pink Champagne Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 egg whites
    1/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. white Karo syrup
    1 1/4 tsp. vanilla
    few drops red food coloring (optional)
Preparation
    Beat salt and egg whites until mixture forms soft peaks.
    Add sugar slowly, beating until smooth and glossy.
    Add Karo syrup while beating.
    Add syrup a little at a time.
    Beat after each addition of syrup until frosting peaks.
    Fold in vanilla and coloring.
    Frosts top and sides of two 9-inch layers.
