Sausage Stuffed French Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hot sausage
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    1 c. celery, chopped
    1 loaf French bread
    1/2 tsp. sage
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 eggs
    1/4 c. milk
    melted butter
    1/2 to 1 c. grated cheese
Preparation
    Cook sausage until pink is gone.
    Add onion and celery. Cook until tender
    and
    sausage is brown.
    Slice bread lengthwise and remove
    insides
    to
    form
    a
    shell.
    Combine
    pulled bread, seasonings\tand
    cooked
    sausage mixture.
    Add eggs and milk; toss with
    stuffing
    to\tmix well.
    Mound onto halves of bread shell and
    brush\twith melted butter.
    Place on a cookie sheet and bake in\ta 400\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes.
    Remove and add grated cheese; return
    to\toven for 5 minutes, or until cheese is\tmelted. Remove
    and
    place\thalves\ttogether.
    Slice
    and serve.
