Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising cornmeal
    1 c. self-rising flour
    2 well-beaten eggs
    1/4 c. oil
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. corn
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 hot pepper, chopped
    1/2 tsp. pepper flakes
Preparation
    Sift cornmeal, flour and sugar in bowl.
    Beat eggs and add with oil and buttermilk.
    Add remaining ingredients and pour into a lightly greased \"hot\" bread pan.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 35 minutes or until golden brown.
    Bread will be soft after cooking.
