Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. shelled peanuts
Preparation

Melt the sugar in an iron frying pan over low heat.
Stir it with a wooden spoon as it melts.
When it has melted to a light brown syrup, stir in the nuts.
Pour the mixture carefully into a greased pan.
While it is warm, mark it into squares.
When it has cooled, break the candy into pieces.
This brittle may be made with any kind of nuts or your favorite dry cereal.
