Spanish Rice And Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 pieces bacon
    1 medium onion (chopped)
    1 1/4 lb. ground beef
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 can (#2 1/2) tomatoes
    3/4 c. uncooked rice
    1/2 tsp. paprika
Preparation
    Lay bacon together and cut into small pieces.
    Saute bacon in skillet until done;
    remove bacon from skillet and pour off about half the fat.
    brown onion in remaining bacon fat.
    Add beef and salt and cook until beef is just grey in color.
    Add tomatoes, cooked bacon, well-washed rice, and paprika.
    Turn into a greased casserole dish.
    Cover and bake in a 350\u00b0F. oven for 1 1/2 hours or until rice is tender.
    Add HOT water if needed during cooking time in the oven.
