Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. light brown sugar
    2 sticks butter
    1/2 c. Karo syrup
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
    6 to 8 qt. popcorn
Preparation
    Place brown sugar, margarine, syrup and salt in 2-quart saucepan. Boil 5 minutes, then add vanilla and soda; stir, then pour over popcorn.
    Place on cookie sheet and bake in oven at 250\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Stir often.
    Peanuts can be added.
