Frozen Cucumbers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sliced cucumbers
    1 medium onion, sliced
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Combine cucumbers and onions.
    Sprinkle with salt and mix well.
    Let stand in refrigerator for 2 hours; drain well, but do not rinse.
    One hour before removing from refrigerator, combine sugar and vinegar in a saucepan and heat to mix and dissolve sugar.
    Cool completely and pour over cucumbers.
    Put into freezer containers and freeze.
