Fruit Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. water
    3 c. sugar
    1 small can frozen lemonade
    2 small or 1 large can frozen orange juice
    1 large can pineapple juice
    ginger ale
Preparation
    Boil water and sugar together and set aside to cool.
    Mix juices and combine with cooled water and sugar mixture.
    Pour into 1/2-gallon containers; freeze.
    (One-half gallon milk cartons work well.)
    Set containers out of freezer 3 hours before serving.
    Add 1 quart of ginger ale to each 1/2 gallon of punch mixture.
