Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c sugar
    1/2 c light corn syrup
    1 c raw peanuts
    1/8 t salt
    1 t butter
    1 t vanilla
    1 t soda
Preparation
    Combine sugar, corn syrup, nuts and salt in 1 1/2 quart glass casserole and mix well.
    Microwave on high 6 to 9 minutes until light brown.
    Add butter and vanilla.
    Mix well.
    Microwave on high 1 to 2 minutes more.
    Add soda and stir well until light and foamy. Pour onto buttered cookie sheet.
    Let cool 1 hour.
    Break into pieces and store.
