Peasant Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry active yeast
    2 c. warm water, divided
    4 c. flour
    2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. melted margarine
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in one cup of warm water.
    Combine flour, salt, sugar and yeast mixture in a large bowl.
    Add the remaining 1 cup of water and stir well.
    (Optional:
    Add 1 cup washed and drained raisins.)
    Let rise until doubled (about 1 hour).
