Mexican Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef (can use ground turkey)
    1 (12 oz.) jar Ortega thick and chunky salsa*
    6 tostada shells or halved taco shells
    1 c. refried beans (favorite brand)
    1 c. dairy sour cream
    4 oz. Cheddar cheese, shredded (about 1 c.)
    shredded lettuce (for garnish)
Preparation
    Brown ground meat and drain fat.
    Stir in 1/2 cup salsa. Spread 1/4 cup salsa in a 10-inch pie plate; top with tostadas or halved taco shells.
    Top with half of each of the beans, meat mixture, sour cream and cheese.
    Repeat layers; cover with foil. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Top with lettuce, remaining salsa and additional sour cream.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
